Here's my philosophy. We all can offer the world insight and thoughtful communication if we really wanted. And since it's not in my personality to keep quiet, writing is my way of using my voice for good. I want to save the world, one person at a time, one task at a time. Will I ever do it? No. I'm realistic and know that the sad reality is that I can never really save the world. I can join the efforts of others to make it better. Smiles and Rants is my way of doing that as well as sharing my thoughts professionally.
I am a writer by trade. I'm active on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Internet marketing is where it's at. And it happens to be my passion. I have a BA in English from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I minored in Speech Communication. I can go on and on about how absolutely wonderful SIUE happens to be. You can read about at Smiles and Rants. I have an MBA and over 5 years experience in Online Marketing. I am a workaholic, but at the moment, that suits me just fine. I love what I do and I love seeing those ROI numbers increase.
I work hard. I'm very driven. I look at the big picture, my end goal, and devise a plan to reach it. I have accomplished every goal I have set so far. I have many more. I like to be challenged at work. I'm a great problem solver and strategist.
On a personal level, I'm from Southern Illinois. I currently live in St. Louis and love it so far. I came to the United States 22 years ago from Romania. I was four. I still speak Romanian and love making Romanian dishes. Everything else you want to know you can figure out by reading my blogs.
